This might seem like a tricky question, but I want to dig into this one because trusting someone to help you in your business is always an investment. And we all want to make sure it’s worth it, right?
Having your systems sorted is an investment, both in your time and energy, and obviously financially as well. But it’s a big undertaking for me and my team as well. We are committing to *really* understanding and setting your business up for simplicity and success.
I have a calculator and it has a slider where it tells you exactly what the return on your investment could be!
You put in your rough hourly rate and then you put in how many hours a week that you think your systems might save you.
And I'd say the easy number to start with is five. So easy.
The things that we simplify in your business like setting up email marketing automation, setting up client onboarding and offboarding, client care for your customers, heavy lifting websites, setting up email marketing, scheduling tools… I could go on.
All these types of things can really take up so much of your fricking time.
And so, when you have those things together, here's what happens.
Not only do you have the time to step away from your business, but also, you show up more consistently. Because that's put on autopilot, right? So your customers or clients aren't waiting for things from you if something unexpected happens in your life. Instead, they still feel supported.
They always feel like they know how they can get the most out of you and vice versa. You are getting the most out of them. For example, if somebody reaches out to me or buys something from my shop, they get that deliverable automatically.
When somebody buys a power hour with me or one of my toolkits, they receive access to that in a branded, gorgeous format immediately. And then, after that they get some hand holding, “how did you like this? How can we better support you?”
That nurturing part of running a business and building that relationship with somebody, all those things are automated as well.
As far as 1:1 clients, when somebody books a potential new client call with me they fill out a little bit of information automatically so that I have what I need to show up for that call prepared. They're already automatically in my calendar, they've got automatic, branded, warm, friendly toned reminders, and then I have a templated follow-up.
So that follow-up email is not automatic, but it is almost entirely ready to go and just needs me to add some personalization about what we talked about during the consultation call.
And that's just one tiny example of the type of time and flexibility and freedom that I give.
So will sorting your systems make you more money?
Imagine once you've automated things like client care, systematized your marketing, have a website that works when you’re offline, you can find and easily share all your files and you have online scheduling for your appointments.
How much more time you have to make money? How much better boundaried you are with your clients? How much more consistently you're showing up? So they're referring to you because working with this person was super smooth sailing.
Something I talk about quite a lot is if you do a really good job, people might recommend you, but if the client experience is incredible, they almost certainly will.
It's like when you buy something and the packaging is beautiful and you get the really nice email that's on brand and is really fun saying that your package has been sent out. And, after it's been delivered, you get this gorgeous thing that has maybe a discount code for your next offer.
And they send you an email saying, would you please leave this for review? And it's all, and you're thrilled because the product has been incredible and the entire client care process has been delivered so beautifully. That is what setting up systems does for your business. And then people tell people about you because of that, right?
I just want you to imagine what that could do for your business, extra boundaries, that extra client experience, and how that could affect your bottom line and your money.
So done right, yes, sorting your systems will fucking absolutely make you more money.
