Our Ultimate Tech Stack: 17 Tools for a Streamlined, Simple Business

Let's talk tech! Okay okay, when am I not?

🤣🤣

But when it comes to running an efficient and simple business, using the right tools can save you endless hours and headaches. Whether you’re setting up a brand-new business or ready to streamline your existing one, this is the list of software and tools my team and I couldn't live without here at Calibrated Concepts, plus a few that we recommend to loads of our clients.

Affiliate disclaimer: Since I always want to make life a little easier for you, you’ll find affiliate links and helpful discounts throughout this post. I only recommend tools my team and I love and use (and have a few in here that I’m not an affiliate for at all!)

First let’s talk websites:

1. Squarespace — For Beautifully Simple Websites

If you've been here for a while, you know that Squarespace is my number-one recommendation for building a website that’s beautiful, functional, and simple. It’s so user-friendly, even if tech isn’t your thing. With their easy drag-and-drop tools, easy-to-start-with templates, and built-in extras, it’s just about everything you need to jumpstart your online homebase. And with the code CALIBRATEDCONCEPTS, you can snag a little discount at checkout! Get Started with Squarespace

2. SEOSpace — Squarespace SEO Made Easy

If you’re feeling a little (or a lot) lost with SEO, SEOSpace is an incredible tool for Squarespace users to get you on track. Whether it’s keyword tracking, optimizing blog posts, working toward a better Google ranking, or making sure you’re hitting all the right SEO marks, the founder Henry and his team have your back. It’s perfect for non-SEO experts! Check out SEOSpace

3. Shopify — For Simple, Powerful E-commerce

Selling more products than services? Then, Shopify is your best friend for a website. I love its clean and simple setup, its range of integrations, and the ease with which you can customize your online store. Shopify’s a powerhouse when it comes to scaling up, and it’s built for conversion. Start Your Shopify Store

4. Promptlates — Copywriting That Pack a Punch

I have used Jess Jordana’s Promptlates to write my website twice now! Prior to that I’d both used a copywriter or tried cobbling things together on my own. With her incredible system that’s part prompts, part templates, part video guides — my website copy feels and sounds just like me AND converts clients. They are well worth the price, but I happen to know she offers a great Black Friday deal or you can get 30% off with the code secretperks! Check out the Promptlates

5. Koffee Klatch (UK) — For Contracts & Policies You Can Trust

If you don’t know where to start with contracts or policies, Koffee Klatch is here to help. They offer easy-to-customize templates written in plain English, so you don’t have to worry about missing anything important. Trust me, you don’t want to get caught out without solid contracts! Plus, the search feature means I can find past conversations and important files in seconds. And let’s not forget the integrations with our other tools like Asana and Google Drive. Acuity is the G.O.A.T. of scheduling if you run a service-based business. It’s probably one of the most robust tools on the market because you can set up payment options, intake forms, and automated reminders so everything is in one place. It takes all the hassle out of scheduling by letting your clients book directly into your calendar. The best part? It’s fully integrated with Squarespace if you’re using that for your website! Use the code CALIBRATEDCONCEPTS for a little discount, too. Book with Acuity

12. Monzo Business — For Simple Business Banking

I’ve been with Monzo for years for my UK banking (both personal and business). I love that it’s designed with small business owners in mind, so you get real-time notifications, easy categorization of expenses, and no hidden fees. Plus, it’s great for managing cash flow, invoices, and setting aside funds for taxes – all from your phone. And, if you’re new to Monzo, we both get a little bonus of £50 when you sign up through my link! Sign Up for Monzo Business

A well-lit desk can make all the difference, and the Elgato Key Light Air gives just that. Perfect for anyone doing online meetings, YouTube videos, or social media content, it’s compact but mighty, giving your space that professional, fully adjustable glow.
